Jennifer Tilly's birth took place at Los Angeles, California on September 16, 1958. The birth circumstances were miserable. Her father worked as a salesman, while her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer was the second child in a four-child family she was frequently at her mother's theater performance and was awestruck. Jennifer's divorce came about when she turned five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood within British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four kids. Jennifer wasn't a student although as a kid she was very artistic. Her time at Canadian schools caused her to be frequently the victim of bullying. When her passion for theater diminished, she started acting in theatre plays to help her mother.
